Highlights

  • Feel the mist on your face as you walk through the rainforest.
  • Discover the best viewpoints on the Zimbabwean side of the falls.
  • Learn about the indigenous tribes and the history of the falls.
  • Capture stunning photos of the falls and the surrounding landscape.
  • Witness the magical lunar rainbow on full moon nights as an optional experience.

Full description

Explore the lush rainforest and walk through the unique ecosystem sustained year-round by the constant spray of the falls. Discover towering mahogany and fig trees and lush undergrowth, with the chance to spot vervet monkeys, bushbucks, and vibrant birdlife such as the African fish eagle.

Visit iconic viewpoints along the Zimbabwean side, including Devil’s Cataract, one of the wildest and most thunderous parts of the falls, and Main Falls, part of the largest curtain of falling water on earth. Feel the power of the falls as mist surrounds the viewing paths.

Capture rainbows and panoramic views at Horseshoe and Rainbow Falls, and look towards the Batoka Gorge where the river plunges below. The viewpoints combine scenic views, photo opportunities, and thrilling proximity to the falls, especially during the high-water season.

During full moon nights, the optional lunar rainbow experience offers the chance to see a moonbow: a natural phenomenon where moonlight creates a rainbow in the mist of the falls, seen in only a handful of places worldwide.

Hear stories of the indigenous tribes who first revered the falls, tales of the Zambezi River god Nyaminyami, and the fascinating history of Scottish explorer David Livingstone, the first European to document the falls in 1855.
