Nehimba Lodge

Nehimba Lodge, Hwange National Park

Set within a mopane woodland overlooking a large waterhole, Nehimba is situated in a private concession in the central part of the park. Offering nine spacious thatched tents built on teak decks and overlooking the pan, it's a perfect base from which to explore the park, or otherwise relax and let the wildlife come to you. It is known to be one of the highest elephant densities in Hwange National Park.

A Hwange Original

Nehimba Lodge sits in one of Hwange's most rewarding corners — northern hwange — where the wildlife moves to the rhythm of the pans rather than the clock. Days here are shaped by water: where it is, who is drinking, and how the light falls on it.

The Camp

The camp offers 9 tents, hosting a maximum of 18 guests. Accommodation is luxury tented lodge, set nehimba seeps, with a relaxed main area, shaded decks and hearty bush dining. It is a 4.5 hrs from victoria falls drive, or 40 mins from victoria falls by air.

What's Hot

A private photographic hide at eye level with the waterhole, a pool that elephants regularly walk past, and guiding good enough to change how you look at the bush. Ask us about exclusive-use and specials.
